“We do not want merely to see beauty… We want something else which can hardly be put into words— to be united with the beauty we see, to pass into it, to receive it into ourselves, to bathe in it, to become part of it. That is why we have peopled the air and earth and water with gods and goddesses and nymphs and elves.”—C. S. Lewis (via ragsandtatters) (via november-princess) (via miminacarino)
I always wanted to vent on Tumblr. Like really vent, like blog about how I really feel. So I always click the text box and I just stare. Then I write a few words then I backspace it. Then I stare at the blank box. Then I just go back to my dashboard. It's not that I don't know what to say, it's just that I don't know how to say it. So that's why all my posts are all reblogs of other people because I'd rather have someone else explain what I'm feeling than try to explain my own.
Have you ever had the kind of crush where when you don't talk to them or see them for a long time, you wonder why you like him. Why you thought he was cute, or adorable in the first place? And then when you think you don't like them anymore, he starts talking to you again and starts making you laugh and smile. Your heart fills up and you get butterflies, and all the feelings from before come rushing back again. Before you know it, your back to square one.
Here's to the kids who try their hardest to be good enough for everyone; who spend hours reading random love quotes to find the right one; who wait online for that one certain person to sign on just to say hello; who listen to the same song dozens of times because the lyrics mean a lot; who deserve so much more than they get and are willing to fight for it and whose wish upon a shooting star was wasted on someone that will never care.
